Well, why not?
There’s a meme out there asking why you blog, so here’s why I do it:
- I blog to improve my writing skills: it is hard to write simply, and blogging lets me practice.
- I blog to clarify my thinking and kick ideas about.
- I blog to have conversations on subjects that interest me.
- I blog to understand Web 2.0 from the inside – I’ve been a member of online writing communities since 2000 but each medium has its own flavour.
- I blog here because I enjoy what I do and there’s surprisingly little about Business Analysis out there on the web.
Ultimately I blog because it amuses and occasionally interests me. I hope it does the same for you.

Hi
I also love being a business analyst. I have been an analyst for over 20 years. I have recently started publishing business analysis books. Thats the new thing Analyst do when the retire. These are easy how to guides and they are selling really well on lulu.com. I would like to invite you to visit my website )(www.echoicesolutions.com). On the services and products link you will find information on how to purchase electronic eAnalyst Redbooks. I priced them really low – 25.00. I guess that is why everyone is buying. I have and Introduction To Business Analysis and a Business Analysis Templates books. These books combined are great resources for conducting business analysis. I will like to get your thoughts.

Hi DeEtta, thanks for letting me know about your site and your books. I’m stacked out with reading right now, but I took a look at the Lulu site and they do look interesting. I like the idea of a book of templates.
Hi Kashif, thanks for dropping by. I don’t think WordPress will do what you’ve described. They have two separate entities: blog entries and pages. Blog entries cascade below each other in what is basically one long list. Pages sit side by side, and you cannot create the list-effect that you have with blog entries. The default setting seems to be to have the blog entries as the point of entry for your site.
However, all is not lost. Use the Category feature to set Categories when you publish a blog post, and put a Categories widget into your side bar. The Category Cloud is a particularly cool version of the widget, though I’ve got for a pulldown menu in mine.
The best advice I can give you if you want to understand what WordPress can do for you is to spend far too much of your life playing around with it!
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging!

Hi Supriya – thanks for dropping by and posting.
I’ve not done your training so I cannot comment on it either way. Good luck with the venture though.
